Constellation Flashcards

These flashcards can be used to teach many of the constellations seen from the Northern Hemisphere. Although, there are 88 recognized constellations in both the northern and southern skies, only 28 have been selected here.

A great game to play with these cards is fish:

S1: Do you have a summer constellation?

S2: Yes, I do. (No, I don't. Go fish.)

S1: Is it Sagittarius the Archer?

S2 Yes, it is. (No, it isn't. Go fish.)

Summer Constellations are constellations that can be seen in summer. Winter constellations can be seen in winter. The same goes for spring and autumn constellations. Circumpolar constellations are constellations that can be seen all year round from mid-northern latitudes.
